Eleanor Grow Obituary

ELEANOR RUTH GROW, 67 ROCKFORD - Eleanor Ruth Grow, 67, of Rockford passed away unexpectedly Sept. 15, 2009, in her home after a short illness. Born May 25, 1942, in Rockford, to Lawrence A. and Freda (Rapp) Grow. Graduated from Auburn High School in 1962 and lived her entire life in Rockford. Eleanor was a homemaker and loved to read and do crafts. She donated many hand-knit scarves to the needy during the cold winter months. Attended First Church of the Nazarene on Charles Street. Survived by brothers, Clarence Allen (Peggy) Grow and Donald (Joyce) Grow, both of Rockford. Eleanor loved and was loved by her three nieces and two nephews, and will be missed at all the family holiday and birthday parties. Predeceased by parents. The family is particularly grateful for the years of support and kindness shown to Eleanor by Anna Sinks and Dorothy Riley. Private family graveside service in Livingston Cemetery near Poplar Grove. I extend my condolences to the Grow family. Clarence & Donald, you may not remember, as it has been so many years but we all went to Guilford Grade School together. Eleanor graduated the year before me from Auburn. I am sorry to learn of Eleanor's passing as I visited the on line site for the newspaper. (Tooele is near Salt Lake City.)
