Mom, I will miss you and our telephone conversations. You were a remarkable woman and I was always proud of you, I wished we had not lived so aparT but am thankful that I spent those 5 years with you in LA. I am truly sorry that you could not meet the love of my life, Nancy. We were going to come visit and surprise you in a few weeks. I am comforted that you are no longer suffering and that you are now at peace. I love you, Richard

I am truly sorry and saddened that I never got to meet you. Richard and I were planning a trip to see you at the end of this month so that I could meet you. I hope that you always look down upon your son and know that he is loved and is happy. May you now find peace with God. - Nancy (your future daughter in law).

I've had 4 years with this lady who has touched my heart in so many ways. Her wonderful stories of past have kept me entertained and her geniune love and constant contact for friends dating back to elementary school was a testament to the type of person she was. I am sure that Joann and mom and dad are celebrating being together again. Even through the rocky times, she always made sure I knew she loved me. She will be missed.

We are so sad to hear of JoAnn's passing. My mother enjoyed her friendship from the time they were in nurses training together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
