Dear brother in law to Nancy (Levern) Mark, Douglas (Linda) Heisner. Fond cousin and uncle to many. Preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Ficker. Proud friend of Bill W. Joe retired from the NICOR Gas Company. Funeral Monday July 11, 20119:30 AM from the Vandenberg Funeral Home 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL. 60477 to St. George Church Mass 10:00 AM. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation Sunday July 10, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 PM. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Joe was a really nice man. I met him when we bowled on the same league in Tinley where he always had a joke to tell and saw him at the 10:00 a.m. mass on Sunday - always with a smile and handshake.
