Gerard Maloney Obituary

Gerard J. Maloney Sr., 93, of Randolph passed away on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. Visitation is on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt. 10 W., Randolph, (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Maloney had been a resident of Livingston most of his life. He was self-employed owner/president of Transportation Logistics, Livingston. Mr. Maloney served in the U.S. Army as master sergeant during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine, and five children, Dr. Lorraine McCune, Gerard Jr., James, Patricia Maloney, and Dennis. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Zoe, Cleis, Brian, Jamie, Jason, Larla Dey, Amanda, Michael, Matthew, Christopher, Jessica, and Kelsey, and three great-grandchildren, Bianca, Brielle, and Cora. He was predeceased by his son, Brian, in 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to NAMI (NAMI.ORG), P.O. Box 759155, Baltimore, Md. 21275-9155.
