I am sorry to learn of Joe's passing. Joe defined IBM Means Service. He was a mentor and friend. I knew of no kinder and gentler person. My cousin passed earlier this year and left me with this "Thank you, God, for this good life, and forgive us if we do not enjoy it enough." I know Joe enjoyed life. I am blessed to have known Joe. May God give you strength during this time.

My sincere condolences to the Brewer family. I always used to kid Joe about his Red pen that he used to mark up our Service Plans. Joe knew more about "Service" than any other person I ever met in my IBM career....I think he invented the word "Service." He will be missed by many. (Jerry Leppart, Raleigh, NC)
