Joshua Kyle Roskovich, age 20 of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2011.

He attended Atlantis Academy and Leon High School. Josh was very creative and talented at everything he did. He loved to draw and write and create music especially. He was instantly at home with the guitar and had ambitions to be a sound engineer. Joshua was passionate with a great sense of humor and was very intelligent; a free thinker. He had a spirit that couldn't be challenged and a beautiful heart. Josh loved to cook and thought very fondly of the time he spent playing football and was an avid FSU Seminole fan. Joshua touched the lives of everyone he met and was a loyal friend. He was very excited about becoming a father.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Jodi Roskovich Irving, of Virginia and step grandmother, Shirley Tranor, of Tallahassee.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Danielle deV Edwards, of Tallahassee, half siblings; Olivia and Mason Irving, of Virginia, his father, Thomas Burrell, of St. Petersburg, his maternal grandparents, Lou and Mary Margaret Roskovich, of Tallahassee, and his godmother, Norma Nahoom, of Tallahassee, he is greatly missed by stepfather, Sean Tranor, and step grandfather, Howard "Mik" Tranor, both of Tallahassee, and a large, loving family.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd. (850) 877-8191. "It touches my heart to see how many peoples lives you touched. I am thankful for the time we shared together and feel blessed to have such a beautiful and bright son. Our relationship was complex for a long time but together we worked through it to develop a bond that we missed out on when you were little. Josh, I thank you for that chance! I always thought I could teach you something that would help you in life, I never realized you were the one teaching me. Thank you son! You will be dearly missed." Dad
