Caroline and Family, I am so sorry for Mike's passing. My memories of Mike have always been in my thoughts and heart. I really got to be very close to him during those special years of our youth. From surfing together at the cove , backfiring his pick up on Foothill road, the foster freeze, sneaking into the drive in, being on the SPUHS football team with number 53 (he found love and beat me out at Full Back (-: ). Our prayers are with you and your family. Joey Montoya-Class of 1964

Caroline,

We were so sorry to hear about Mike.

It's amazing through the years, all of the stories that I hear Gregg talk about when Mike and he worked together at the City of Indio.

It seemed like at least once a year something would come up and we'd say something like "I wonder how Mike and Caroline are doing. We really should look them up next time we are in the Desert."

We're very sorry that we didn't make that more of a priority.

Just want you to know that you and the boys are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Caroline and Boys,
We were saddened to read of Mike"s passing. Although we have not kept in touch through the years, I thought of Mike often. (Motorcycles, vacation at the beach etc.) Mike was one of the first people I worked with in Indio and, he was deffinatly one of the most memorable.

I always remember his skill doing intricate drawing and lettering. It didn't seem possible that such a big man could do something so nice.

We will always cherish fond memories of both of you.

Best wishes,
Derrick and Marsha Kleiman

Mike was one of the best guys I have ever known. I worked with him for 7 years and knew whenever i needed a break I could go to his office and be instantly transported into a different world filled with Jerry Lee Lewis and crazy nick nacks that he had collected over the years. Edge's memory will live on in me whenever I see a little dune buggy or beads on a doorway. He will be greatly missed.

I first met Mike when we were maybe 8 or 9 years old. It was at a church "club" at the local Baptist church for male youths called "Royal Ambassadors". It was at Christmas time and we all drew names out of a hat for gift exchange. Mike drew me and gave me a Bible. My mom put his name in it. If you would like to have it please let me know. All through H.S. I don't ever remember it being mentioned again (much less used by me). May you and your loveds ones find peace....Jack Withers class of '64

Caroline,
Mike was a good friend and a true professional his field. He enjoyed a reputation as an expert among those who worked with him and sought out his advice. We especially enjoyed his sense of humor, and ability to keep things in proper perspective. We only wish that we could thank Mike again for his freindship and support during the years we worked together. we wish you the best, and are very sorry for your loss.
