This is to the children of Beatice Ivy Smith. I was saddened to read your mother's obituarary in the Bryan Eagle. When I was a youngster, my parents and your grandparents were pretty close friends. Your grandmother assisted in my birth in 1933. I have pictures of your grandfather holding me as a baby. Whenever we visited your grandparents, we were always kept up to date on what was going on in your mother's life. Even though she was eleven years older than me, I always felt that I knew her better because of our parents friendship.

Bea was a friend of mine, she lived in my neighbor for as long,
as we have lived here. Her husband and she created the mixture
to stain our woodwork.. God bless her family, I know she will be
missed. Betty Duncan (Beaumont, Texas )
