Gregory McInturff Obituary

CREAL SPRINGS -- Gregory McInturff, 41, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at home.

Services for Greg will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with the Rev. Don Bowers officiating. A time of gathering for friends and family will precede the memorial from 10 to 11 a.m.

Memorial donations are suggested to Gregory's children c/o the Bank of Marion and will be accepted during service times. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959.

Greg was born Saturday, June 20, 1971, in Herrin.

He married Dana Odum, and she survives in Creal Springs.

Survivors include wife, Dana; children, Kaylee and Dillon McInturff of Creal Springs; parents, Paul and Jo McInturff; nephew, D.J. McInturff, along with other nieces and nephews; and siblings, Derik McInturff and Leslie Peters.

Greg was preceded in death by Ray Carver.

Mr. McInturff attended Fountain United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, hunting and spending time with his children.
