Nick was such a good man, and we cherish the times we spent with your family. Never a shortage of love and laughter when we were with you. It hurts my heart to think that you have had to endure a year without Nick, but I know how proud he would be of you, Aaron and Erica. Nick is with the Lord, but his amazing legacy and memory is so present when we are with you and Aaron. Your trust and dependence on God during your deepest valley has been such a testimony to us and so many others. Our family is praying for you. Much love, The Nelson's

Nick was correct, he has a wonderful family that are making him proud after his passing. Would myself like to have the wisdom Aaron has at his young age and the strength Tammy has demonstated. To the great and not so great times we had old friend, will always have you in my thoughts. Dave P NJ

Although we have not met, I want to tell you how highly and proudly Nick spoke of all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. Tammy, I am so sorry to hear this news. I have been living in Atlanta for about 10 years, so I've been out of the loop. My mother just told me tonight and I wanted to reach out to you and offer my condolences.
Nick was a heck of a great guy. I will always remember his infectious personality and keen sense of humor. I am happy you two were able to have these years together, and that you both became close to The Lord. I know he is with Jesus now.

Finding out that our dear friend Nick was sick, was very hard because we were so far away. What helped were the beautifully written blogs you openly shared, making us feel like we were a part of what was going on with Nick and your family. For that we thank you. Nick- Although we didn't keep in touch much after you left NJ all those years ago, I will never forget you and all the fun times we had in HS and college, weekends in Wildwood and especially our infamous roadtrip down to Key West in your moms Dodge Dart to 'look at colleges' when we were 17. Knowing that you no longer walk this earth is tough to take, however, now it is time to begin the next chapter. I never had the chance to meet your wife and family, but I know how proud you were of all of them. I'll miss you old boy. Good luck in the next life.

Tammy and Aaron, The Bender family feels so fortunate to have had Nick in our lives. Nick's love for his family was very obvious and his passion for the automotive industry was very strong. Tammy and family, I have followed your blogs throught the whole ordeal. I just want you all to know how touching and so heartfelt all your blogs have been. Just when I think I have had a bad day, my girlfriend and I read you blog and cry togather and realize how small our problems really are but really how great your faith is! Throughout Nick's illness, you have been in our thoughts and prayers. By sharing everything you've been through with such honesty and eloquence we've felt the pain of your loss. Seeing the example of your strength and faith, and even your joy in happier moments, we've become better people.
When I think of Nick, "family man" is the first thing that comes to mind. Family came first in his thoughts and conversations and he worked hard to provide every opportunity for his family. He was a good man and will be missed.

Nick Badida was indeed a truly genuine man - a man marked by his deep passion for his Lord and for his family. It didn't take long, after you met Nick, to fall in love with his kind and gentle spirit, his infectious laugh, his appreciation for life and his uncompromising devotion to those he loved. My greatest joy on Sunday mornings was to walk into church and receive a Nick hug. We are blessed to have forever memories of this incredible man.
