Lois and I were employed at JC Penny in Burnsville. I retired in 1990. In later year while shopping in the store I'd look for a familiar face, one being Lois. She was in charge of Women's Outerwear, mainly coats. Always cheerful with a smile, would engage a conversation telling you of the latest fashion. Very enthusiastic about work, life and family. Although we weren't socially connected, her spirituality is a lasting impression. I know all her friends at JC Penny join me with sympathy and condolences to the family.

What a amazing legacy Lois leaves in the hearts of each of us who knew her. She is one of the most other centered people I have ever had the privilege to know. Harold it was great to chat last Sunday, please know that Cathy and I will be holding your arms up on Saturday and beyond.
Thank you for the gift of strength, encouragement and your poured out servant heart to your bride in the these last weeks and months.
I know she will be bragging on you to Obadiah, Job , Jonah and other alumni who have gone before us!
Love you.

Dear Harold & Family,
I am so sorry to learn of Lois's passing. She suffered greatly, but now she is free of that suffering. God bless you all with his Amazing Grace & Mercy. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories you have of her. She was a beautiful Christian. I loved her and prayed for her and you while she was ill, and talked to her early on.
Trust in the Hope of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus and be comforted.
In Deepest Sympathy, Joan Hintermeyer
