Anniversaries are moments of joy and loss. Maricela your life has changed much since Richard's death. Lament is part of the scriptures as well as belief in the joy of afterlife. It has been a blessing to know both of you. The communion of Saints is a reality. In this spirit we rejoice. Blessings on you Maricela as you continue your journey. David Jackson

Dearest Mrs. Suarez and Family,
My sincere heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. I had two favorite teachers all through school and Mr. Suarez was one of them. He was my math teacher in 8th grade. I think it was the first year he taught in Raymondville. My bestfriend Dalia Ortiz Blanco and I always looked forward to his class. He was such a good teacher and such a gentleman. I always admired how the two of you were such a lovely couple and you both always looked so happy. I can't imagine what you are going through but I know it must be a very difficult time for you and your family. May the beautiful memories that you shared comfort you through this time and may you feel God's loving arms around you when the void you are feeling is hard to bare. Please know that you are loved by many and you are sincerely in our thoughts and prayers.
With Much Love,

Sharon (Zdansky) Easter

Oh Mrs. Suarez! How my heart aches from the news of your family's loss. Mr. Suarez was a great man. He may not have been a classroom teacher for me, but he was a teacher in my life. I have fond & fun memories of him & Joe when we used to hit the summer golf tournaments all over the Valley. He took care of me & my younger sister when he took us to the tournaments as if we were his own children. He will truly be missed! You & your family are in my prayers & God Bless you all!

My condolences to the Suarez family. Two people posted on Facebook that they kept notebooks from Richard's classes at Lyford. So his goodness endures beyond his life here on earth. Many others have commented on his supporting and encouraging influence. Would that more people could "pay it forward" as he does. My prayers and love. David Jackson

Mrs Suarez ... I'm so sorry for your loss... I had the pleasure of having you both as my teacher ... And from both I learned so much... But almost 30 years later that same devotion and love you two shared was evident ... I saw you two quite often.... And I can say what a great example of God's Love....
