To most he was known as Father An. To me, he was chu An... uncle An. Uncle An who threatened to chop off all of my hair whenever I didn't brush it as a kid. Uncle An who carried my brother all the way to the hospital when he broke his arm at the park. Uncle An who would tickle us until we cried from laughing so hard. Father An who blessed our homes and officiated our marriages. Father An who was a perfect example of a follower of Christ. I miss you so much, but I know you're watching over us in heaven and listening to our prayers. May you rest in peace. I love you.

My family will always be touched by the caring, kindness and humility Fr. An showed us when he was our pastor at Holy Family Parish. I am forever indebted to him for helping my daughter get financial aid to attend Boston College. May GOD continue to hold him and his family in HIS loving arms.

I remember when Father came to Mt. Calvary in Forestville. He was so shy. Our jokes went over his head but he laughed anyway. He was an inspiration to all of us at MtC and later at St. Mary's in Upper Marlboro. Thank you. Pray for us.
