To most he was known as Father An. To me, he was chu An... uncle An. Uncle An who threatened to chop off all of my hair whenever I didn't brush it as a kid. Uncle An who carried my brother all the way to the hospital when he broke his arm at the park. Uncle An who would tickle us until we cried from laughing so hard. Father An who blessed our homes and officiated our marriages. Father An who was a perfect example of a follower of Christ. I miss you so much, but I know you're watching over us...

Word's cannot express the sadness we feel, Father An. You will always be in our hearts and memories. You will truly be missed!. Your soul is now resting in peace. God Bless Father Vu Ngoc An.

I was blessed to have Father Vu as my pastor at Holy Family Catholic Church. He guided me through some rough times, but his kindness and devotion to God helped me. I will miss his calmness and kindness. God Bless Father Vu.

Father Vu was always kind, caring, and loving to everyone he met. He loved the children of St. Mary of the Assumption. May God bless him!

My family will always be touched by the caring, kindness and humility Fr. An showed us when he was our pastor at Holy Family Parish. I am forever indebted to him for helping my daughter get financial aid to attend Boston College. May GOD continue to hold him and his family in HIS loving arms.

We have very fond memories of Fr. Vu when he was at St. Mary's of the Assumption in Upper Marlboro. May God keep him in the palm of his hand. Condolences to his family. God Bless and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Father An Vu was a wonderful seminarian at the Mount and a great priest in Washington. God rest his good soul

I remember when Father came to Mt. Calvary in Forestville. He was so shy. Our jokes went over his head but he laughed anyway. He was an inspiration to all of us at MtC and later at St. Mary's in Upper Marlboro. Thank you. Pray for us.
