BARBARA T. CURRAN
On Friday, July 1, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Curran; mother of Thomas J. Curran, Jr., Mary Jane Canale, Sheila Gremminger, James Curran, Barbara Roller and the late Michael Curran; grandmother of Michelle Seawright, Colleen Coleman, Thomas J. Curran, III, Christine Sisk, James Canale, Joseph Canale, Matthew Roller and Michael Roller. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and her brother Paul Higdon. Relatives and friends may call at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck and Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Barbara, I'm sorry for your loss. I still get sad sometimes thinking of my Dad -and its been 21 yrs.- but its the good times I remember most. Call if you want to talk sometime 301-452-7752. Hope thing are well otherwise. My thoughts are with you and your family. Peace.

When we moved to Kensington in 1997, we were delighted to have Mr. and Mrs. Curran and Mrs. Curran's mother next door. They made us feel welcome and gradually our lives were enriched by meeting the whole family! Whether it was a big occasion (kids and grandkids coming to visit) or a small moment (her lilies of the valley were in bloom), Mrs. Curran always seemed serene and happy. We miss such a wonderful friend and neighbor and offer condolences to you all.
