Father Charlie Brown, how blessed we all are to have such an extrodinary man be part of our lives. You were humble and amazing. I saw a sign when going to see you the day before you died...it read "aspire to inspire before you expire". You truly inspired thousands of people and touched them with your faith. Love and freindship in Christ, please continue to help and bless us all. Joan Guyther

Father Charley Brown was a great priest who loved his work and his priesthood. Whilw still at the
church on Greencastle Road, his homilies were well prepared. At Riderrwood he was always cheeerful and loved to show people the photos in his room showing him piloting a plane over snow-capped mountains in Alaska to say Mass in isolated villages; he was also very pround of his mother's beautiful landcape paintings that adorned the walls of his Riderwood apartment. We will miss him.

Fr Brown..The Joe Simpson family of Vienna, VA will miss you dearly. I have not seen you since you gave my father's funeral mass 4 years ago. Maybe you and Dad are sharing a "crazy orange juice" since you joined him. Eternal rest grant unto you.

Father Brown -- Charlie -- the Nethery Family will always remember you as the priest who baptized Caitlin and Colin (St. Paul's Parish first baptism by immersion, and yours as well), one of four priests to concelebrate the funeral Mass of our father and husband George, and a priest who was never at a loss for words. A very personable and funny guy, and certainly a man of humility and deep prayer. Thank you, thank you.
