On Sunday, December 19, 2010 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Hubert R. Hamerski; mother of John W. Hamerski, James E. (Claudette) Hamerski, Thomas L. (Marianne) Hamerski and Mary E. Viands; grandmother of James A., Steven J., David J., Ryan T., Kellye M. and Kevin M. Hamerski, Jennifer A. Trogler, Libby M. Petronio, Andrea N. Norfolk, Kerri R. Sharabi and Lauren K. Cronise; sister of the late Magdalen Voelker, Dolores Simon, and Mildred Wieczorek. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Boulevard, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, December 28 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Hamerski family,
Your dear Mom and Dad were very special friends to my parents, Dave and Peggy Rabenhorst, for over 50 years. I will always remember Mrs. Hamerski as a sweet and cheerful lady who brightened a room with her presence. We can take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with those dear ones who have gone before. May our Gracious God wrap His arms of love around you and bring you His comfort and peace. I send my loving blessings to you all.

We will certainly miss our Aunt Cleo. Knowing that she is at peace & with Uncle Hugh and her sisters & brothers in-laws. Their family was so close and brought so many wonderful memories to their children as we were growing up. I always will remember our visits with Uncle Hugh and Aunt Cleo. Two or three years each February they would rent a place for a couple of weeks near our home in Florida. We had a great time shopping, eating out, golfing, & fishing & BBQs at my home. Those wonderful memories I will always treasure.
