I am a longtime reader of the OVCA Listserve and have followed the story of Donna's noble battle. Imagine my surprise when I read her obituary in my local newspaper in Johnstown. Though she does not know me by name, I do believe I attended a luncheon this past Friday at Sunnehanna CC with Mary Antoinette, her sister, who I also remember as the organist at St. Joseph's Church. (It was a luncheon for retired teachers.)
I am 62 and if Donna attended St. Joe's, I was enough younger that I don't remember her, but what a small world.
More importantly, I am so sorry for your loss. May the support of faith, family and friends continue to help all the family through the rough times.
