I am a longtime reader of the OVCA Listserve and have followed the story of Donna's noble battle. Imagine my surprise when I read her obituary in my local newspaper in Johnstown. Though she does not know me by name, I do believe I attended a luncheon this past Friday at Sunnehanna CC with Mary Antoinette, her sister, who I also remember as the organist at St. Joseph's Church. (It was a luncheon for retired teachers.)

We will miss you dear, kind ,lady. Your courageous battlling-leaves a hole in your ovarian cancer community. So glad you had your family around to surround you.

Donna, I have a heavy heart writing this. You will be greatly missed my friend. Kings Park will never be the same without your joy, your strength and your courage.

My wonderful friend, I can't tell you how much I will miss you. Your friendship and love were priceless. Lots and lots of beautiful memories.
