ELIZABETH GERTRUDE RAFFERTY "Gertie"
On Monday, December 5, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Harry Rafferty; mother of Joan (Chip) Glasgow, Catherine Rafferty, Bernard (Mary) Rafferty, Colleen (Harry) Reed and Michael Rafferty (Eloy del Toro); grandmother of Jonathan (Becca), Jennifer (Dave), Brian, Shane, Darren, Jessica, Siobhan, Jarred, Maeve, Collin, Molly and Nollan; great grandmother of Jagger and Harper. Also survived by her sister Eileen Smyth, sister-in-law Maureen Rafferty, brothers-in-law Bill Nash and Kevin Rafferty, and numerous nieces and nephews here and abroad. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, December 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD; where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
