On Sunday, November 20, 2011, of Olney, MD. Beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Sagona, Sr.; mother of Sandra L. Carlsen, Joseph S. Sagona, Jr., and Robert S. Sagona; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of five. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, November 22, 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD, on Wednesday, November 23, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Sandy, Joe & Bob – I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Fran's passing. She was a loving woman and such an important part of my early life. Hold tight to your wonderful memories for comfort, and know that there's a new angel in heaven watching over you. I sure wish I could be there – it's difficult to be so far away.
