On Monday, February 14, 2011, of Bluemont, VA. Beloved husband of Anna Maria Vucci for 55 years; father of Robert A. Vucci (Iwona), and Gina M. Patton (Burt). Also survived by 16 beautiful grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, February 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Arcola Ave and Kemp Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Aunt Anna Marie, Robert and GIna;
Words are too inadequate a way to measure our heartfelt pain for the loss of Uncle George. All our lives evolved around his beautiful smile, happy voice, open compassionate heart and unconditional love to all his family and friends. I loved Uncle George so much, whenever I saw him, I saw his brother too, your Uncle Art. I know Uncle George is happy with his brothers and sister in heaven and he will always be watching over all of you and your loving children. As Dad would call him Padre, Uncle George loved us all and watched out for us to make sure his entire family was happy. As Pop would always say, "Whenever you think of love, I'll always be there!" These are the words I've lived by, which will always keep our father's passion and memories alive in each and everyone of us. Their book will never close, as he lives in our hearts forever!
