On Saturday, July 9, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved father of Kim J. (Peggy J.) Weitzel, Christine E. (Kurtis P.) Hartmeyer and Susi B. Slocum; grandfather of Benjamn J. Weitzel, Heather M. (James) Skelton and Ryan K. Hartmeyer; brother of Robert L. and Daniel F. (Phyllis) Weitzel, Jean (Lawrence) Yearke, Joan Horne and the late Betty Rebar Karns and Carolyn M. Scarborough. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13,2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
