So very, very sorry to hear of our loss. You all are very much a part of our world and gatherings with the Robertsons were always special occasions. I'm not sure why you would let me, as a 17-year-old, chauffeur you down to the Pope's Creek crab house in a 20-foot motor home, but somehow we made it. So many great memories- watching Redskins games at 7707 Jervis Street, swimming with Karen & Brian at your community pool, hide & seek at the Klemms' homestead, trying and never succeeding to catch Brian making a mistake on naming the presidents and states... I missed camping trips but have heard the stories so often I feel like I was there.
Johnny will definitely be missed, but he lives forever in my heart. He was a wonderful man.
Love to you all.
ps- Happy Anniversary 12/23 to Jean & Marilyn.

How happy Jean, Marilyn and Jaynelen must be to see their dear friend, Johnny. Could they be planning their own version of Snow White and the 6 weird-os? I have such fond memories of all of the Robertsons, and as such am saddened by your loss. He was always very kind to me. As a child, I enjoyed seeing and hearing him laugh; his whole face participated in his laughter. It makes me smile thinking of it. I also remember he wanted to give me an extra hug at my wedding -- one from him and one from my father. It meant a lot to me that someone remembered my father and would think to remind me of his love for me on that day. It was my favorite wedding gift and touches my heart to this day.
Love to you all, Ellen Klemm Feeney
