Long; mother of Thomas, Jr., Mari and James (Karin) Long; sister of Elizabeth McCarthy; grandmother of Ashley, Devon, Dylan and Marjorie; great-grandmother of Czar. Exemplary Spouse and Mother, Bane of the Errant Politician, Worker for Justice, Keeper of the Faith. When we were growing up, Lucy was always interested in our interests and eager to hear our opinions on issues. She was kind and generous and caring.

I loved going to Aunt Lucy's house and spending time with her, Uncle Tom and my cousins. I always got lost trying to find their house and someone would have to come out and meet/find me! Lucy and Tom drove across country (Lucy had a fear of flying) to attend my wedding in Minnesota and that meant the world to me. Lucy is always light, love and laughter to me.
