I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Margot, my childhood friend for over 60 years. My family and hers were neighbors on Myrtle Rd. until the early 2000's when my Dad moved to assisted living. Margot and her Mom were great support for us as both my Mom and my Dad declined. She will be missed as a dear friend, neighbor and childhood playmate.

Margot was my Algebra teacher and my friend - we stayed in touch these many years with cards and notes and calls. She was quick to call when she heard I was sick and always shrugged off any concerns about her own illness. She has left this world far too soon and will be missed greatly.

I'm sure that I speak for our entire class when I say that we were very fortunate to have had her for our teacher. My prayers and deepest sympathies to all of the Cook cousins.

Deepest sympathy to Margot's relatives and friends. You are mourning one who lived life to the full and touched the lives of many. May you who loved her find comfort in the words of the Preface of Chritian Death: "Lord, for your faithful people life is changed, not ended"
Margot, may you rest in the peace of God's Kingdom.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9, 10 . . .‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth'. Only God's Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life.

We have lovely memories of Margot on her visits to Ireland. I remember one glorious spring day when we toured the Antrim coast and she was thrilled with the beauty of it. In recent years her courage and good spirits in facing her health problems were an inspiration. Now we have another friend in heaven.
