Beloved husband of the late Mary Lane Vekeman; father of Monica Lane Grant, Mary Lynn Scanlon and Scott Vekeman; grandfather of Michael, Stephen, Brendan, Matthew, Morgan, Andrew, Caroline and Mary Pat; great-grandfather of Luke; brother of Lucille Myers and the late Betty Cogan; longtime and devoted companion of Dora Gavilan. Funeral services private. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
