MICHAEL FREDERICK EISERT
On Sunday, December 2, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Carole Eisert; son of the late Winifred and Jerome Eisert; father of Steven Eisert, Brian (Kim) Eisert and Carrie (Chip) Grimes; grandfather of Karlina, Charlotte, Autumn and Chase; brother of Mary Hopkins, Gerry Eisert, Sandy Morgan, Tim Eisert, Cherryl Jones, Patty Eisert and the late Jean Eisert. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Camillus Church, 1600 St. Camillus Drive, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, December 10 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Dear Eisert Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great guy and he will be missed. I first met Mike when I worked in the finance office at the AO. I will always remember his good sense of humor and easy going way. I am very sorry for your loss and I hope that your happy memories can give you some comfort.

Mike was a diamond in the rough! He was a trusted friend and colleague at the AO, a great shortstop on the 13th Street Walkers, an understanding friend on the golf course as I trudged through the woods and he hit down the fairway, and most importantly a really good, decent and loving, great guy. He will be missed by a lot of folks. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. One of my fondest memories of Mike was when Steve brought his instruments down for a party on the deck and Mike, Steve and a bunch of us played to the rabbits and squirrels in the woods till the wee hours of the morning. We were not much good, but Mike's signature smile flashed many times that night!
