MICHAEL KENNETH NEMES
Of Montgomery County, Maryland died suddenly on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the age of 26. He was the beloved companion of Candace Beverly and the devoted father of Adrianna Nemes. He is also survived by his parents Frances Mitchell and Richard Nemes, Jr. as well as his stepparents, brothers and sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, October 28, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, 4900 Strathmore Avenue, Garrett Park, MD, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

The kind of person I remember Mike to always be; was the funny one. The guy you looked forward to seeing because he was such a joy to be around. I got to know Mike, of course threw my brother Kenny, But over the years gosh, the amount of good time's that I was blessed with, are such that I don't remember them all. But one I remember clearly. Back In the Day, When we all worked @ Shell. Sometimes night shift @ shell would get a little silly and we'd have recess pieces putter butter cup Minnie fights ( the candy). We'd throw them back and fourth threw the gas station between costumers. Along with many other silly things we all did. The guys made me smile and a few times cry. So All the While the whole Crew of Shell boys working with a few girls, could become quite frustrating and out numbered @ times. It was also the most fun I had in my life. And honestly Mike had a big hand in what made life then, so funny and happy. Always joking showing off his amazing smile. He was Always given the floor to talk, Ha-ha when he put rims on his Lexis and they were a little to big so they rubbed the fenders. I remember hanging out after work with my brother, Mike, Raymond or Bud, basically who ever wasn't working , laughing up a storm in Mikes basement watching The Simpson's. I always tagged along anywhere the boys would go. I felt proud to be with them and kind of special. To get to hang. But them are the older days. Now both Mike and I have become parents and grown up. But in the end I believe we all still have lots all <3'd for one another. Now although in the last few years I hadn't been around Mike as much. I wish we had because anytime I ran into him or hung out it was always a good time. Exactly what a parent wants for there children to grow up and be Happy. I'd say mike did do just that but sadly for us; God wanted another Angle in heaven, Another Spirit In the Sky ,So I guess he'll be young forever, Just like his personality. Mikes spirit shines threw in his picture. I so wish I had gotten to bring Jackson to meet him. Jackson would have <3'd his smile, His good heart and probably his family but there's: a Lot of would-a could-a should-a‘s in life; but no one can change what's happened. We can See him in our hearts. We are to remember the life Mike brought to life. Ease his load and show him you'll go on. You'll go on remembering everything, every time, every joke, smile, kiss, tear, fight, all of it. Mike would want you, us anyone who missed him, to do it in the right way. Threw story, threw remembering, Threw laughter. We can all represent him, Ever memory you have: share it with someone, keep his legacy alive, I miss Mike I ‘m hurting and I ‘m just an old friend. So because I do get it I understand some of the pain your feeling you and I both know what mike would want, its to be remembered. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow over the loss of Michael. He was always a genuine, kind and loving person so happy and full of life and he touched the lives of everyone he met. Words can not express the heartbreak we feel for Rick, Candace, Adrianna, Madeline, Alex & Davey. Living such a distance from each other, we didn't get to be a part of his day to day life, but when we were together, with Michael, it was like we were never apart. He was taken far too young, I guess God needed a special angel in heaven and we hope you can find comfort in the memories you all made together and know that he will forever be watching over all of you, especially Adrianna. Hold dear and close the memories and your family to get you all through this very difficult time, our love and prayers to you all. Rest In Peace dear Michael, you will be greatly missed.

I had the opportunity to meet Mike a few times, and when I did we were always able to share a common interest, our daughters. We would talk about the love and impact they have had in our lives and I know that, that little girl meant everything to him. Fortunately we share the same close friends and I can see the impact this tragedy has had on them and know Mike was able to touch many lives. A great dad and a good friend, I'm glad I had the chance of meeting you Mike!!
