On Friday, January 7, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Anna K. Vincent; father of John (Sue) Vincent, Renee Hagerty, Norman (Patricia) Vincent, George Vincent, and Maureen (Glenn) Griffin; grandfather of Sherry, Craig, Jenifer, Joanne, Brian (MSG currently serving in Afghanistan), Trisha, Emilie, Adam, Claire, Eric and Joe. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, January 10, 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine Laboure, Veirs Mill & Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. You know pops V the beach is not the same since you left us I go thinking we might see you with your bike and cooler but you are not there it's taking me a long time to realize that you and moma are gone but not forgotten Donna and I always talk about the old times and laugh when we use to visit God bless you too and I will never forget you guys and all the family . I just received notice of Rene's passing. He was not only the father of my grade school friends John & Renee but for 4 years he shared his car with my brothers, Mike Seilor, Costello kids and me on our morning ride to Gonzaga. Rene was kind and generous with his occasional advise for a bunch of kids who needed it. I have thought of Rene often when I get together with my friends from high school who always spoke highly of him.
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Rene was a great guy. I always enjoyed seeing him with Mrs Vincent and talking with him at Rene's Bay House gatherings. The world will be a lesser place without him. We are so sorry for your loss.
