On Friday, September 14, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. WWII Veteran and Member of Knights of Columbus. Beloved husband of Eileen Espey; father of Joanne O'Brien, Lynn Gipe, Ruth Espey-Romero, William Randolph Espey, Patricia Espey-English; grandfather of Tim, Kevin, Scott, Angela, Alex, Catie and Matt. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette's Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, September 18, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. My Grandfather who we all call Pa, will be missed so very much. Pa was a part of my life from the very beginning he was there the day I was born. I was lucky to have had him and Sweetie in my life. Their life together is an inspiration. Until we meet again.
