Beverly Wallace Obituary

Beverly A. "Sandi" Wallace, age 67 died in Yuma, AZ on June 25, 2011.

She was born August 12, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Russel and Reba Sanders. In 1949, the family moved to the San Diego area where she attended schools and graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego. She married Wayne Wallace in Winterhaven, CA on September 16, 1967.

The couple moved from San Diego to Yuma in 2003. While in San Diego, they were members of the Pacific Power Boat Club. They were crew members for American Power Boat Association Hydroplane and raced all over the United States for many years.

She and her husband are members of the Nostalgia Car Club of Yuma, AZ and enjoyed showing their 1948 Ford Panel and she also enjoyed off road running in their 1965 VW Wagon in the local desert.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne, at the family home. Three sons, Jay, Douglas, and Christopher; Eight Grandchildren; One brother, Russel, Jr. and one sister, Lauren Sanders.

Memorial Services will be held at the Sunset Vista Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Terry Liston officiating.

Cremation was held at Sunset Vista Crematory.
