John Herbert Saunders Jr.

John Herbert Saunders Jr. John Saunders born 6/9/1953 passed away 1/11/2015 surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Ukiah. graduated from Ukiah High school in 1971 and Married his high school sweetheart in 1972, and were happily married for 42 years. He was a career employee of Masonite and also enjoyed driving for Thurston. John loved hot rods and NASCAR and drove stock cars at local tracks for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents John Sr. and Geraldine and brother Sterling (Brent). John is survived by his wife Janeen, his Mother Lona and his siblings, Craig Sr.,Sandra Jo, Brian, Kevin, and Leanne, children Casey (Sarah) and Allison (Chris). His biggest joy was his grandchildren Alexis, Izabella, Madison, Cason, Brody, Weston, Samuel, and was excited for another baby due in the spring. As well as many nieces, nephews cousins and extended family members. Celebration of Johns life will be Sat. January 17th from 12 to 3. At his home. Eversole is in charge of arrangements.
