The most touching moment in this horrible disaster was when Alex's brother was at the White House. I shed a tear every time I think of that moment. There are no words to express my sympathy.

This is something no parent should ever have to go through. It truly breaks my heart to hear about Alex passing. From his smile, I can tell how kind of a young man he was. Please continue to draw strength and comfort from the One who generously supplies it. "Through prayer and supplication let your petition be made known to God"....and he will give you peace.

To the family,
My sincerest condolences in the passing of Alex. Please find comfort in the words of Psalms 37:10-11, "Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Alex and his fellow classmates (those killed) will be restored to life in paradise. (Luke 23:43)

Heartfelt sympathy to the Schachter family. Alex your smile says it all, Vibrant, friendly smile. The world needs more smiles like yours. My heart aches to think of the hurt brought to you and your family. May it bring some small amount of comfort to know strangers far away like myself care and pray for you to be strengthened and comforted. Take courage in the words of 1 Peter 5:6,7.
Love you all
