Barbara J. Stepp

Stepp, Barbara J. Clarklake, MI formerly of Chelsea Age 77, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home in Clarklake, Michigan. She was born January 19, 1939 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Ray A. & Beatrice L. (Welch) Oesterle. Mrs. Stepp was a resident of Chelsea most of her life. She was a housewife and mother. She loved to play bingo and feed her birds. She married LeRoy Stepp in Whitmore Lake on Nov. 10, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1963. She then married Thomas Stepp in Dexter on Dec. 24, 1965, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1990. Survivors include her four daughters, Tammy Nelson of TN, Kathy (Edward) Gallagher of DE, Jackie (David) Grzybowski of Clarklake, Vickie (Robert) Crider of Munith; one brother, Paul Oesterle of TX; four sisters, Ruth of Somerset, JoAnn of TX, Pat of MO, and Billie of TX; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, and a sister, Mary. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea.
