Beatrice Victoria "Bea" Pearsall

1920 - 2015

Pearsall, Beatrice "Bea" Victoria Chelsea, MI Age 94, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at her home. She was born September 8, 1920 in Brentwood, New Hampshire, the fourth daughter of William & Annie Goulden. Bea graduated from Ann Arbor High School with the class of 1938. She worked for Montgomery Ward as a switchboard operator, as a medical clerk for Chelsea Community Hospital, and spent many years helping her husband, Fred, with his job as Sylvan Township Treasurer. Throughout the years she had been active in Cub Scouts. Bea married Fred Warren Pearsall on August 27, 1938 at St Andrews Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor, MI, and they went down the road of life together for 68 years. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her 17-year-old son, Fred E. Pearsall, and four sisters. She is survived by her dear children, James V. (Donna) Pearsall of Clinton, William C. (Linda) Pearsall of Chelsea, and Jerry W. Pearsall of Dexter; grandchildren, Jeffrey Pearsall, Todd (Lauren) Pearsall, Robert Pearsall, and Emily (Brandon) White; one great-grandson, Owen William Pearsall; and several nieces & nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Tuesday, Aug 18, 4-8 pm. A private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Memorial contributions may be made to Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
