Constance Petsch Obituary

Petsch, Constance "Connie" Howell, Michigan Age 68, went to be with our Lord on Monday, January 19, 2015 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 15, 1946 in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of James & Jeanette (Trolz) Evilsizer. Connie graduated from Manchester High School in 1964. She was a dentist assistant for Dr. Dixon in Clinton, MI, then worked for Kate and Company Hair Salon and Shine Salon, both in Brighton. Connie liked to read, cook and garden. She enjoyed her family, friends and pets. Connie had a great smile and her laugh was contagious. Survivors include a daughter, Carrie (Kevin) Alder of Brighton; a son, Jeff (Leslie) Petsch of Manchester; three grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob) Satterla , Evan Petsch, and Lance Cpl Kurt Alder; her twin sister, Candace "Candie" Sussex of Adrian; and one niece, Jennifer Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather, Richard Gilmore. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 30, 2:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Grass Lake in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Center.
