Estelle M. Howell

Howell, Estelle M. (Seitz) Jackson, Michigan Age 97, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was born February 18, 1918 in Chelsea, MI, the daughter of Fred J. and Emma Marie (Visel) Seitz. Estelle was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ in Jackson and the Eastern Star of Jackson. She was a homemaker, gardener, and a great cook. Estelle is survived by two daughters, Karen (Mel) Winchell of Jackson, Judy Wellman of Jackson; a son, Charles (Sharon) Howell of Menasha, WI; as well as 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and their wives, Paul (Katherine) Seitz and Walter (Marge) Seitz. The family would like to thank the staff at RidgeCrest for their loving care over the past six years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 1:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Jim Coyl officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ in Jackson or St. Paul United Church of Christ in Chelsea.
