Joseph Galea Obituary


Joseph "Joey G." Galea, a longtime resident of Howell, passed away on February 4, 2013 at the age of 79. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delphine (d. 2010). He is survived by his loving children, Kelly (Chuck) Cook, Joe (Therese) Galea, Brandy (Nikolas) Galea-Hertrich; grandchildren, Jessica, Eddie, Micah, Amy, and great grandchildren, Macey and Jeremiah. Also survived by his sister, Carol (Bob) Chapa, many extended family members and dear friends including his colleagues at Briarwood Ford in Saline where Joe had worked for many years. A Memorial Gathering is planned for Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at Crystal Gardens, 5768 E Grand River Ave, Howell, MI from 4-8 pm. I havent seen him in over 30 years but I remember him to be a kind man in all the chaos of my youth. I wish I could have known him longer. My deepest sympathies to the ones closest to him.
