Martha was a "mom" to me and a blessing to our family and our church family for many years at Mt.Hope Bible Church. She was the best greeter, always faithfully there with a smile and a hug! May the God of all comfort give you peace.

So many wonderful memories of Martha. She always sent me church bulletins and wrote notes of encouragement in them when I was out of town. I also have one of her beautiful blankets. Praise God for a wonderful example of giving to others.

I remember back to the days at Huron Hills Baptist Church in Ann Arbor when we were all part of an active growing body of believers. It is with sadness for you that I read this obituary, yet joy in knowing that Martha is no longer limited by her ailing body, and is safe and sound in the presence of the Lord Jesus.

Martha was such a sweet and gentle soul. I think of her every summer when I use the zucchini bread recipe she gave me at my bridal shower in '82. I am so glad I got to see her and get a hug from her last December at the Country Market. Prayers for and love to all the family. <3

Dear Wayne and family - I am sending my prayers to you, wishing you peace and comfort. I will miss Martha knocking at my door and coming in to talk. She was my first friend at the Pines and I will miss her greatly.
