Mary Ellen was my grandma. I really wish I had more time with her. I was almost 6 when she died and im now 13. I get teary eyed when my little sister talks about her because she talks like she’s knows her. I really wish that Grandma could be with us while we grow up but im sure she’s watching over us from heaven. We love and miss you grandma. ❤ and we’re so excited to join you in heaven.

Mary Ellen was a gift to those of us lucky enough to spend time with her, even if it was only for a few minutes every now and then in unexpected places.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. I worked with her when we were both in communications at AAPD many years ago. She was always upbeat and thought the world of her family.

I'm so sad to learn of Mary Ellen's passing. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to A2 in 1983 and came to work at Quad Six. And as years went by it was always such a nice surprise to see her smiling, friendly face at Lowe's Garden Center or more recently at Busch's. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Craft family. She has been apart of my families life before I was born and I considered her like a second grandma to me. She was so kind, generous and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've known! I have the fondest memories of playing cards with her and never forget her love for that, giraffes and Pepsi. She made the best Pineapple upside down cake and would make it for me almost every time she knew I was coming over :). She will be missed so much and I will forever cherish the memories I have of her.

Dear Craft children,
you were all very young when I worked with your Mom at the police dept. She was so very proud of each and every one of you. Her spirit was kind and she was a true woman of strength.

I found Mary Ellen to be an incredibly warm, friendly and caring woman. She was thinking of her son Freeland who turned 55 on October 20 , 2015, the day of my father, Fred Chase Jr.'s funeral mass. She shared her children's ages and how much she loved her grandchildren. She was a bundle of energy so her loss is a sad surprise for those left behind, while as she was such a caring and truly good person, cannot help but I believe she is being hugged by the angels. Our thought go to Teresa and Mary Ellen's tsons, my niece and nephew Emma and Keuter Chase and their sister Alexa, along with all the grandchildren and all other family members.
