Terry had a wonderful smile and a welcoming friendly energy about him that I'm sure made him a favorite nurse to many patients. He will be deeply missed.

I haven't seen Terry since we were teenagers but we had a lot of fun playing cards on vacation in Canada at Easter time. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I called Mom (Babe) this morning and told her and she started crying and said she liked Terry so much and wish she would have known sooner. She said to send her love to the family. May God bless and comfort you all and know he is healed now walking the streets of gold with your mother and brother.

I had always planned on coming out and meeting this fantastic man, Terry. Debbie told me a lot about Terry and I have the utmost respect for him. I wish I could have gotten to know him. I think I would have known a brave man with a great sense of humor, kindness and intelligence. A man with a fighting spirit. Terry fought and it was a long battle. However, I'm sure Terry went out on his own terms. I am saddened that the world has lost such a wonderful person. But, Heaven is even more complete with this new angel. You can rest now Terry, you've earned it.

I have many memories of working with TML. He always had a smile and contagious laugh...and enough food for a crowd that he always shared. I laugh when I think of the memories of the Meechigan parties too. Good times. Rest in peace!

Terry lightened so many lives in his work and was always a fun person to be around. I remember he would always bring enough lunch to share and was always willing to. The pop machine on 7 west became a mission for him and singing in the med room on 8A is a fun memory. He also is the reason of a personal dream come true when I got my first 2 golden retrievers from him. The world lost a great man and heaven got someone truly deserving to be there. Rest peacefully my friend and give those pups a big hug.

Loved working with Terry and listening to all his stories, my favorite was when he left to go 'out' for lunch and ended up at at U/M BB game and got caught on TV by his coworkers, back in the day...yes we are old nurses...that was 'ok'. And, for Terry, he was one in a million. RIP my friend, keep them laughing until I get there.

So very sorry for the loss of a special hard working man. I worked at Ypsilanti State Hospital for many years and golfed with him often. He would work OT at Ypsi State when no one else would.
