Floyd Younger Obituary
Although a car accident in 1966 left Dale a quadriplegic, he never complained or felt sorry for himself. Instead, he tried to do as much as he could to keep up with everyone else. It was not unusual to see him riding a snow mobile or riding on an inner tube behind a ski boat. He tried to live life to the fullest regardless of his disability. Dale also volunteered countless hours to the Easter Seals organization during their yearly telethons. Including one particular fund raising year, he raised thousands of dollars by physically wheeling his wheelchair from Yuba City to Sacramento.
Dale is preceded in death by his father Floyd James Younger; his mother Retha Love, and his brother Larry "Keith" Younger.
He is survived by his two sisters, Vickie (Bill) Hedden of Oroville, and Traci (Rob) Landon of Yuba City; three nieces, Sonia Younger of Lodi, Chasity Beutler of Yuba City, and Stacy Beutler of Reno, Nevada; three nephews, Briston Callison of Seoul, Korea, Vincent Uriuas of Lodi and Carter Landon of Yuba City.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 16th at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, California at 3:30 p.m.
Services are being held under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.

Traci & Vickie, I am so sorry. I have heard about his escapades in his chair & had a good laugh. I regret not being able to be close enough to visit with him. My first nephew!

Vickie, Tracey and family, so sad to hear of the passing of Dale. I remember him dancing in his wheel chair, laughing, and having a great attitude all the time. I've known your family since 1970. Sorry for your lost I new Dale through my dad he was a great person and had a good heart towards every one and back then he loved to be on cb radio he will be missed rip Dale

We are sadly sorry for your loss. Cheryl and I have known him for about 30 yrs met him on CB radio. He has always been a great friend. RIP our friend. You will always be missed.
