Andy Davis Obituary

Andy Davis, the metro Atlanta sculptor chosen in June to create a statue of Martin Luther King Jr. for the Georgia State Capitol grounds. has died of injuries from a traffic accident. Davis, who created life-sized statues of Georgia singer Ray Charles and orator Patrick Henry, had been chosen by Georgia officials to create a similar statue of King. Read more on ajc.com
