Not sure what to say?

His work continues to inspire me to this day - and likely always will. Extraordinary care put into every piece he did, and his talent was obvious. I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet him. Is there anything in the Austin area that commemorates him? I'd love to pay my respects. Regardless, thank you for sharing him with the world, and I'll include him in my prayers. May blessings fall upon all those who knew him and loved him. Bruce Tartaglia

Rest in Peace

Rest in peace my brother you will forever remain in our hearts

Bernie shaped our imaginations.Such a nice man.

Funny, charming and oh, so very talented, I will always remember Bernie fondly.

Just remember that it's only a temporary parting, Liz. Soulmates such as you and Bernie always find their way back to each other.

No one is every prepared for the death of a love one. Allow the wonderful memories of Bernie to bring joy and laughter to you. Rely on the love of family and friends, the wonderful power of prayer and God above to carry you through and assist you with your grief.

i Was an avid reader of House of Mystery, Creepy, Vampirella, Eerie, Swamp Thing, etc, and then eventually Stephen King's Creepshow. He depicted landscapes that were gothic, macabre, and haunting like the best of them. And for that, i thank him greatly.
