ELISHA INFERRERA Obituary
(LeFlore) Of Rutland, formerly of Lexington, July 24, 2014. Mother of Nicholas, Joseph, and Kimberly Inferrera. Daughter of Ann and Nariman Behravesh of Lexington. Sister of Peter Behravesh and his wife Ashlee, Justin Behravesh, Alison LeFlore and her husband Kenny Barnett, and Eric LeFlore. Fiancee of William Brown. Daughter of Walter LeFlore and stepdaughter of Bonnie LeFlore. Former wife of Anthony Inferrera. Elisha is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and by many close friends. She was an elementary school teacher in the Worcester School District for fifteen years. Visiting hours will be at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road, LEXINGTON, Friday, August 1 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 2 at Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Donations in Elisha's memory may be made to Rosie's Place, Boston, or to a special education or Special Olympics charity of your choosing. Interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.

I worked with Elisha at Rice Square School. She was always smiling, kind and willing to listen. It was joy to be in her classroom and she had a very calming effect on her students. Elisha and I had plans to get together this week to go for a kayak. It was going to be her first experience, she was very fearful but excited to give it a try. She was anxious to "cross it off her bucket list". I am so extremely sad that I never got to hear her nervous laugh and see the worry leave her face as she relaxed and enjoyed herself in the boat. I'll miss her forever.

Though I only knew Elisha for a few months, I know that she has a big heart and a beautiful soul. She welcomed me to Rice Square School, and when I was going though my own difficult times, she would pass by my office door and just say "thinking of you" ... Always from a place of genuine, heartfelt concern. She also viewed her students in the same caring manner, in a way that words cannot express. Elisha will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and loved ones during this difficult time.
