It has been a few weeks since I heard about Ildri's death. It has taken me time to digest that she really gone. It is both a relief and sad to say goodbye to such a special being. She was an important mentor and dear friend. She always gave me the sense that she was delighted to see me or hear from me whenever I called or saw her. Her dedication to being in life as deeply as possible continues to be an inspiration to me. Ildri will live forever in my heart.

When I first met Ildri Ginn, I was a deeply wounded man. She helped me, first, to find my way to healing, and then she showed me how I might be able to help others. Over the years, Ildri became my teacher, and my mentor, and eventually my dear, dear friend. What a great blessing I’ve been given in this lifetime – to encounter Ildri, and then to work with her, and to have her as a friend. Ildri is a great soul, and I treasure the memory of our relationship.

I have carried Ildri's unique lilting voice, her courage to live and work outside the box, her passionate pursuit of emotional truth and her poignant blend of ancient wisdom and childlike delight deeply inside me for almost 40 years. She will continue to be alive for me always. May her soul keep reveling in delight.

Ildri Bie Ginn was an important and inspiring influence in my life. She encouraged me during my training in psychodrama and we stayed in touched over many years and many miles. She had the healer's touch and touched my life and the lives of many others with her insight, her perception and the depth of her caring. May she rest in peace.

Thinking of you, Ildri, on Mother's Day is very appropriate for me. Although I didn't know you for that many years, you had an enormous influence on me and I love you. I think you know that. You were so strong, so smart, so loving, so willing, so present, so beautiful. A leader ….a mentor....a mother …. I love you Ildri and I thank you ever so much.

I count knowing Ildri as one of my life's greatest blessings. She had the wisest heart of anyone I have ever known. I loved to remind of a time I was with her as she introduced to famous Australian therapist as a "national teausure" she would laugh when I told her this in her dear and enlightened way, but it is really true. This woman was a teasure of heart and and mind. She was a joyful, peaceful and powerful woman whose gifts helped so many. The world is better for having had her in it, she created world peace one soul at a time. What a power of example of what can be contributed in one life time!!!! If others would like to get to togther to share about Ildri I would love to offer my place in Andover. Please email me @ [email protected] Parteleno My condolonces to her family and all who knew and loved her.

I write with condolences for Ildri's family. Ildri was one of my senior teachers of psychodrama and the one that literally resonates like an instrument in my mind when I think of the lessons she showed. I have been wondering how she was and looked her Institute up today. I am sad to see that she is gone. It was a great fortune for me to see her wield her psychodramatic arts -- her advanced age did nothing to erode her power in my eyes. With respect,
