I worked with Jean, but then became great friends with her along with my partner, Phil. We've known Jean for over 25 wonderful years. We always enjoyed her company. She was a "no nonsense" person, direct and to the point. And she loved her friends dearly. We were very privileged to have been her friends. She will be greatly missed. I too worked with Jean Millholland in her second career as founding executive director of the Council for Secular Humanism. Jean was organized, professional, and creative in her work. She could also relish the fun -- or the irony -- in almost any situation. I hugely enjoyed my years working with her. Jean, you will be missed.

I worked with Jean in her second career as the executive director of the Council for Secular Humanism. She helped turn a fledgling nonprofit into an internationally known organization. All her colleagues in this venture will remember her with fondness, respect, and appreciation.
