HEHR - June Elaine (nee Staffel) Age 88, of Snyder, NY, February 12, 2017, beloved wife of the late Clifford N. Hehr; dearly cherished mother of David M. Hehr; sister of the late Darwin C. Staffel; cousin of Janet C. (Charles) Howell of North Canton, OH. June was a life-long, third generation member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was active in young adult groups and later with the Mothers' Club and other women's organizations. She graduated from Kensington High School in 1945 and worked for a decade thereafter in the purchasing dept. at Buffalo Forge Company. Her finest role in life was that of loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and homemaker. Wonderfully supportive, compassionate, and nurturing, June was unfailingly selfless in her devotion to family and friends. She was a lovely and courageous woman of quiet dignity and perseverance in the face of adversity. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be conducted at Williamsville Rural Cemetery, Main and Reist St., Williamsville, on Thursday at 11 AM. Friends are invited to attend.
