My Wife Carol and I extend our deepest sympathy to the Jacobs Family. Growing up on Martha Avenue, my family could not have had any better friends and neighbors than your family.
I still have in my living room a handpainted vase that was given to my Mom from Mrs. Jacobs and on the bottom it says " N. Jacobs 1971."
Also, Mrs. Jacobs was such a wonderful friend and supporter to my Mom when I was serving our country in Vietnam. She always told my Mom that everything would be ok and I would come home safely. There weren't many people around back then that would even think of supporting the families of those that served during that unpopular War.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with Mr. Jacobs, Douglas and Bonnie and their families during this most difficult time. Jim and Carol

I had such wonderful memories growing up next door to the Jacobs family. Norine was a great neighbor and friend . My deepest sympathy goes out to her family especially her devoted husband, son and daughter.
